Cutest Babies Ever …
Happy Monday!
Welcome to a brand new week and a more stamping samples! I have been in my stampin’ studio all weekend preparing for my upcoming Hostess / Customer Appreciation & Catalog Kick-off party!
I have decided to focus on 7 brand new stamp sets and “Label Love” is one of them! This is the stamp set I used to create today’s cute baby card.
Babies have been on my mind lately… Amy from my Thursday night Technique Club just had a sweet baby boy “Cody”, and rumor has it … Marlene from my Wednesday night Technique group just became a grandma! Still waiting the details on the baby! So this is dedicated to both of them …
I love how the colors work perfectly for a baby card. From the Subtles collection I used the So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, and the returning Soft Sky, then from our new In-Color collection the new Pistachio Pudding.
Again, the stamp set is “Label Love” found on page 33. Although I did not use it, Label Love comes with a coordinating punch! Here I used the 1″ Circle Punch to spotlight one of the “Cutest Baby Ever”.
I also used the small heart punch in So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, and Soft Sky to compliment the embossed hearts on the card created with the hearts from the Adorning Accents Embossing Folders. You just can’t have too much heart when it comes to babies!
Then I added a soft embellishment with the pearls … Some believe that pearls were formed by the passage of angels through the clouds of heaven. Over time, the pearl has become the symbol of purity and innocence. How perfect for a baby card.
If you liked and need any of the items used to create this card, just click on the link below and it will take you to my on-line store. You may shop 24-7 (even in your jammies!)
Please feel free to leave a comment if you enjoyed the card today, I’d love to hear from you!
Have a wonderful week ~
Dream … The Open Sea
Hello Stampers!
Just a quick post today … I know your busy!
I wanted to share a card (I cased from a fellow demonstrator) that we did at one of my all day stampin’ events. It’s a great “MAN” card and we used the “Triple Time” Technique. It’s just perfect for the “Open Sea” stamp set (page 101)
The colors just make this card! We used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, and “my new black” …. Early Espresso!
I also want to show you a close up of the beautiful “Antique Brads” (117273) – they go with so many styles of stamping. This little one worked perfect for our nautical theme.
Have an awesome Saturday!
A Million Thanks …
Happy Friday Stampers!
The weekend is finally approaching!
As promised, the card I made for you today highlights 2 of our new colors. First, the “Crisp Cantaloupe” from the new In-Colors and the “Smoky Slate”. I really like this color, and it’s going to go with a lot of colors.
I’m going to do something a little different … I’m going to show you some great new products out of the catalog first and then lead you into the card!
Let me introduce you to one of the pretty flowers (there are 6) in the “Flower Shop” stamp set found on page 94 of the catalog. I stamped this in the Smoky Slate … then punched it with the coordinating punch “Pansy” (130698). I love it when our stamp sets have coordinating punches, makes life so much easier!
Next … “WASHI TAPE”! Man is this stuff fun to play with! this is the Epic Day This & That Designer Washi Tape (131269) I used the “gray” to coordinate with my card, but there are 2 other rolls that come with it. Then I topped the flower and washi tape off with our Basic Pearls (119247).
Here’s just a little shot of the inside of my card … stamp it a couple times and add a strip of washi tape. I have begun stamping inside of my card, just because everyone opens them up to see what’s inside (even if you’re only showing a sample!) I love it!
OK … now the card!
With our yummy “Crisp Cantaloupe” and the “Smoky Slate”.
Don’t you think they look good together!
A Million and one Thanks for taking this stampin’ journey with me! You will find the “Million & One” stamp set on page 161. I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it.
Maybe I’ll make the next card with the other stamp in that set … “Fabulous is what you are” and I believe it!
Have a great weekend ~
To my Best Friend…
Hello Stampers!
Sorry about the “repeat” … still a little new at this blogging – lol
Today I want to share with you, the beautiful new 2013-15 In-Colors! Well, I have 4 out of the 5 for you on this quick and easy card.
The base of the card is done in the “Baked Brown Sugar”. Then the 1-1/2 inch by 3-1/2 inch strips are: Pistachio Pudding, the “Strawberry Slush” in the center, and finally the “Coastal Cabana”… a place we all want to go! Maybe with that Strawberry Slush that has one of those little umbrella’s in.
Do you think Stampin’ Up! already had these colors in mind when they were planning the Caribbean Cruise Incentive trip!
OK … back to stamping! The Coastal Cabana is a touch greener than my picture turned out… hmmm. Guess you’ll just have to come over and see it for yourself.
The cute little greeting is from the “Label Love” stamp set and it has a coordinating punch (130920) Artisan Label punch.
I actually stamped twice in the two colors … punched out the black, and cut out the Strawberry Slush and popped it up with our Stampin’ Dimensionals.
So … How do you like our new colors? Let me know, I’d love to hear from you!
Oh, and come back tomorrow because I will be showing you the 5th In-Color … the yummy “Crisp Cantaloupe”.
Happiest Birthday …
Hello Stampin’ Friends ~
I have birthday wishes for you today! We are always looking for a pretty card to send to our BFF, so grab your BigShot and lets get stamping!
You will need the Apothecary Art (128415 – W / 125527 – C) and the Loving Thoughts (128436 – W / 125845- C) stamp sets, the Labels Collection Framelits (125598), the Adorning Accents Emboss Folder (125601) and Edgelits (125595).
This simple layout can be used with any Designer Series Paper and coordinating cardstocks. You could use the NEW Gingham Garden with Pear Pizzazz or Afternoon Picnic with Coastal Cabana!
For the embellishments I used the flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and 3/8″ Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.
NOT IN THE CATALOG … But not gone!
Hello my stampin’ friends ~
I am still on this “new blog” high! This is such an amazing way to keep in touch. For those of you who can’t make it to my classes or join my clubs, you can still get ideas and stay “in the know” of all things stampin’ and scrappin’.
On that note …

First, is the “Ornament Keepsakes” stamp set (128048 – W / 128051 – C) and the beautiful greetings from “Greetings of the Season” (128030 – W / 128033 – C)
I used the “Coordinations Cardstock as a background, a Cherry Cobbler banner that draws your eye to our focal point … the ornament! I then embellished with scraps (you got it) of the Silver Glimmer Paper (124005) and top it off with those precious “gotta have” Rhinestones (119246)
Next, the fabulous Two-Step Stamp Set, “Evergreen” (127970 – W / 127973 – C) You can make this with Always Artichoke and the NEW Pear Pizzazz or go wild and choose another color scheme!
Last but definitely not least … I’ve got two great samples from the stunning “Snowflake Soiree” (127922 – W / 127925 – C) stamp set. The first is done in a soft neutrals pallet… Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, and Crumb Cake. It’s such a warm greeting for the holiday season. I used a brad from one of my favorite embellishments; “Vintage Brads” to tie the card together!
The second is so simple, yet simply beautiful. A very festive card when done in Whisper White and the simply delicious Cherry Cobbler!
It’s not too early to start thinking about the Christmas cards that you want to share with your friends and family.
I’ll soon be posting a date for my “Christmas in July … Oops August! Stamp Camp. We will kick-off the new Holiday Catalog at this event!

SIMPLY SKETCHED …
Welcome stampin’ friends!
I am stoked about sharing my card with you today! WHY… you say?
Because it is one of my favorite new Hostess stamp sets …
“Simply Sketched”
This stamp set is a beautifully designed “sketch” style that just calls your name. Oh, and the greetings are so pretty! The card below is the “Make & Take” that I designed from my 2013 Spring Demonstrator Retreat! We used aqua painters to do the “Watercolor” technique on the flower.
The base is “Crumb Cake” cardstock. The pretty green “Pear Pizzazz” paper comes from the “Gingham Garden” Designer Series Paper pack. The “pop” of color is the NEW “Strawberry Slush” from the 2013-15 In-Colors.
I used the 2-1/2 inch circle punch (120906) on the flower and the “Window Frames Collection” Framelits (129021) for the mat. The pretty button came from the new “Very Vintage Designer Buttons” (129327).
OK… I can’t help it. I must share my swap card with you too! The Island Indigo color makes the card “pop” and was chosen to coordinate with the “Soho Subway” Designer Series Paper. And don’t you just love that little bird!?
Let me just say … “the picture in the catalog does not do this paper justice”. I simply fell in love with the Soho Subway Designer Series Paper (130140), it’s great for scrapbooking… and any type of card!
And FYI … the “Sympathy” is included in the Simply Sketched stamp set. Just click on the “Shop Now” button to purchase any of the items you saw here today.
A little reminder that the “Simply Sketched” is an exclusive Hostess set, which you can get FREE when you host a stampin’ party, join one of my clubs, or place an order of $150 (order with a friend or two!)
Have an awesome week!
My favorite new product …
Hello Stampin’ friends!
When I got my hands on the New 2013-14 Idea Book & Catalog, I knew right away what I had to have! For those of you who come to my annual Kick-Off party, you know I have a “My Favorite Stamp Set Contest” … and I still will, but I couldn’t wait to share this product with you!
The BIGSHOT … just like the Lone Ranger, now has a side kick you can’t be without! Meet Tonto!
The new Stampin’ Up! Magnetic Platform for Framelits & Edgelits (130658)
No more post-it notes since the magnet easily holds them in place! I can’t wait to get my hands on it, because you all know… I love my framelits!
Watch the video from Stampin’ Up! to see how easy it really works!
Now, you’ll need a cute idea to use with the new magnetic platform, here is a beautiful card that I received from one of my Star’s members Brenda Morateck! I just love the neutral color pallet on this card, it works well with the “COLLAGE” Technique she used.
The “Secret Garden” stamp set (page 94) and coordinating framelits (page 187) were used to create this card. Some of you will recognize the greeting as coming from the awesome stamp set “Lacy & Lovely” on page 117.
Hope you enjoyed today’s post, and my “Lone Ranger” reference … You know I’ll be going to see Johnny Depp as Tonto!Best Wishes …. for savings!
Hello Stampers ~
Today I am sharing two cards… Stampin’ Up! is having a sale on some of our most popular stamp sets. Two of mine, the “Petite Pairs” and “Sweet Essentials” are featured today!
First, is a card that I received as a “swap” from my Star’s team member, Cindy Schneider. Our Star’s group meets once a month to stamp, swap, share ideas and business tips! Not to mention … we have fun too.
To create this card, we embossed in white, the flower from ” Secret Garden” (pg. 94) and then sponged with “Pretty in Pink” ink. Although that is one of the discontinued colors … there are plenty of pretty pinks you can use. The “Oval Collection” framelits (129381 / pg. 186) was used to cut the flower pattern out and frame it with the scallop mat.
Oh yes, I need to mention the contrasting cardstock is “Early Espresso”… I love the way espresso looks with the pastel colors (try it with Pool Party!)
The card was embellished with the butterflies from the “Beautiful Wings” Embosslit die… these dies emboss onto the butterfly and cut them out for us! We also have buttons and heart embosslit dies, all are found on page 188 of the NEW Catalog.
I’m thrilled to tell you that the fabulous “Petite Pairs” stamp set, one of three that is currently ON SALE!
You can save 25% when you purchase one, two or all three of the stamp sets!
Now I’d like to share a card that I made a while back that features the “Sweet Essentials” (pg. 41) stamp set! ON SALE. And y0u’ll recognize the cake from yesterdays post … Make a Cake stamp set.
Little stampin’ tip …
If your making a special card for a wedding or special friend, embellish the inside of the card too!
It’s doesn’t take much, but it will leave a lasting impression.
Feel free to leave a comment about today’s post, I’d love to hear from you.
Have a great weekend and Happy Stampin’
Linda

MAKE A CAKE …
Hello stampers ~
It’s that time of year … lot’s of celebrating! Graduations, anniversaries, and Birthdays!
So what do we do to get ready for a party …. MAKE A CAKE!
I just love using the “Patio Party Suite” when making cards for any kind of celebration. The “Make a Cake” stamp set will be hanging around for another year (whew) but the awesomely fun “Patio Party” Designer Series Paper is retiring! You can find the entire suite on page 43 of the 2012-13 catalog… but you’ll have to order today!
To add a few special touches to this card I used the “Bitty Banner Framelits” and the “Beautiful Wings” Embosslits! And for the cherry on top (so to speak) I topped it off with the medium and small size pearls.
To order any of the products shown, just click here! AFTER NOON TODAY!
There are a few hours you cannot access the “Shop Now” feature on our websites … Stampin’ Up! is transitioning the NEW CATALOG!! So excited… because you will be able to purchase from BOTH catalogs, but only for a short time.
